Single-ply 80/20 SW Brushed Extrafine Merino/Nylon
SUPER soft merino wrapped around a nylon core, then brushed. This yarn is wonderfully versatile and can be used in a wide range of projects. It knits up beautifully on its own on a wide range of needle sizes, and can be used as a light DK through to chunky. Combine it with a fingering/sock weight or DK weight yarn to add warmth and texture without weight to jumpers, scarves and cowls.

Arranged Marriage Fingering (formerly Dead Man's Flats Sock)
Single-ply 56/44 SW Extrafine Merino/Superkid Mohair
This singles yarn is next to skin soft, slightly fuzzy and has a beautiful pearly lustre due to the fineness of the mohair used. The mohair is not brushed but the singles construction allows the mohair fibres to bloom and form a delicate halo around the strand. It knits up into warm and lightweight items. Although technically a fingering weight yarn, you can also treat it like a thicker sport weight yarn, and knit on larger needles. This allows the mohair fibres more room to bloom and reach their full fuzzy potential. It is delightful worked up into lightweight shawls, cardigans, hats and cowls.

High Twist Enemies to Lovers Fingering (formerly HT Banff Sock)
2-ply 85/15 SW Extrafine Merino/Nylon
Very similar to our regular Banff sock base, this yarn just has a different ply to it. This two-ply high twist yields a plump, bouncy yarn with a bumpy texture that is great for colourwork and texture sure as lacework. The main factor determining the quality of merino wool is its softness, which depends upon the fineness of the fibres. This yarn uses extrafine merino (19.5 microns), which is some of the finest commercially available. This results in a luxuriously soft and bouncy yarn for next to skin comfort. A little nylon is added for extra durability. This yarn is so versatile and can be used for any next to skin project (scarves, jumpers etc), as well as items where a little more durability is required such as socks and gloves.

A soft single-ply (21.5 micron) merino and linen blend yarn with texture and a gentle tweedy haze. We dye these with acid dyes which the linen does not absorb and remains white, producing a halo of linen fibres. It is ideal for summer and trans-seasonal items such as cowls, shawls and lightweight tops.

4-ply 75/25 SW Fine Merino/Recycled Nylon
19.5 micron merino for a soft yarn with the perfect combination of warmth and durability. Superwash Merino wool has excellent insulation properties and adds structure, while also taking the dye beautifully. Recycled nylon gives this yarn the strength and lightness it needs for heavy-duty wear, while being environmentally conscious. This workhorse of a yarn is going to be great for all those high-wear projects like socks, mittens, or anything else with a lot of use.

One Bed Worsted (formerly Prairie Worsted)
2-ply 90/10 SW Merino/Linen
If you like our One Bed Fingering base, you'll love this! Two singles are lightly twisted together to produce an aran weight yarn. A soft merino and linen blend yarn with texture and a gentle tweedy haze. Nylon free.
The natural linen gives the yarn a textured finish with subtle drape and produces a rustic, almost hand spun look when knitted up. When dyed with acid dyes, the linen resists the dye and remains white, producing a slight halo/marl of linen fibres. It is ideal for jumpers, cowls and shawls.
