This handy acrylic gauge ruler custom made for us by Jenn of @muster.pattern for our FBAA-inspired NYE Box (like Poppy's bloodstone dagger!) is my absolute fav tool for checking gauge on my projects. The narrow opening makes it so much easier to keep track of the stitches you are counting at 1-4", but it's still wide enough for even bulky yarn.
